Learning outcomes A student is able to:
  1. explain refraction of light
  2. define refractive index as n=sin i /sin r
  3. determine the refractive index of a glass or perspex block
  4. state the refractive index, n as speed of light in vacuum / speed of light in a medium
Activities
  1. Teacher ask student to predict, observe and explain of situation given
  2. To conduct an experiment to find the relationship between the angle of incidence and angle of refraction to obtain Snell's law.
Teaching aids Power point slides, Physics From 4 Text book and Physics SPM reference book (Sasbadi)
Noble values Being responsible about the safety of oneself, others and the environment.
Reflection The learning outcomes are achieved. 80% of them focusing during the lesson.

Noble values Students eager to learn and being critical thinking to solve the problems given
Reflection Students can solve the problem by guiding from teacher. But still 4 numerical of them takes much time to complete the task.

Reflection 70% of them really understand the phenomenon of the total internal reflection. The rest still not really sure how phenomenon happen. So for next class, teacher has to demonstrate to them.
